China Has NO Interest in a Positive US Outcome in Afghanistan

Marc Faber points out an interesting argument – something that he has thought about increasingly and that is the divergent global interests of the US and China. China is quietly (well perhaps not quietly anymore) trying to gain natural resource interests worldwide (including in the Middle East). Faber brings up the point – why would they want the US to succeed in Afghanistan and Iraq?
