Howard Davidowitz was interviewed again on Bloomberg with an update on retail sales over the holidays. He thinks the numbers will be weak and scoffs at the “positive” retail data. He feels online will continue to be strong (especially Amazon which he calls a “monster”) but department store sales are weaker which means overall sales will be down since online is still only 4% of all retail – watch here:
