Bailing out our country continues to get more expensive. It seems that our politicians don’t understand, as Bill Fleckenstein says, that we can’t get out of debt by incurring more debt and we can’t print (money) our way to prosperity.
Congress is talking about “creating jobs.” As an aside, why doesn’t anyone talk about creating companies? or creating entrepreneurs? How can you create jobs without starting new businesses? Ahh another topic for another time…Back to the point – here is an article discussing Congress’ possible plans to help “create jobs”:
It seems they will extend unemployment benefits, possibly the home buyer credit, and other handouts. Keep spending and eventually we will prosper! Let’s hope we don’t blow up first.
