I have featured restaurant.com on this site some time ago – so when I originally heard about groupon.com, I dismissed it as another restaurant.com. But there is a lot more on this site. For example, they send ‘deals of the day‘ customized to your geographic area. For example, in Boston:
Check this site out – it may offer you something. It seems generally speaking, that the web has saved many timid people the uncomfortable task of bargaining (also something I have discussed in the past). By saving the money through sites, people don’t have to ask for it. Don’t get me wrong, negotiating still works in many places – but most people still can’t bring themselves to do it:)
