"We’d rather underperform a huge bull market than get clobbered in a bear market” This quote (as far as I determine) was originally written by "Warren Buffett" in several of his "Buffett Partnership" letters to limited partners (1959 - 1969). I don't recall at the moment which letter has this exact quote, but I just read these letters over the past two weeks and saw this quip. This quote (as far as I determine) was originally written by “Warren Buffett” in several of his “Buffett Partnership” letters to limited partners (1959 – 1969). I don’t recall at the moment which letter has this exact quote, but I just read these letters over the past two weeks and saw this quip.
